Rejoice (rejoice),
Rejoice (rejoice)
Rejoice (rejoice)
In the lamb that was slain!
Let the heavens rejoice
(let the heavens rejoice)
Let the angels sing
(let the angels sing)
For the lamb that was slain
has now been crowned the king!
Oh my goodness. Isn't that how that song goes? I couldn't leave out the female repeats because every time I started singing it in my head, they kept interrupting to get in on the praise action.
Side note, as I am writing this, an extremely tan body-builder type was just walking out in our courtyard at the apartment. Ha. He was wearing what appeared to be powder blue mini shorts. But they may have just been boxers, but his legs were so massive that they couldn't fit in them. I have never seen shoulders that broad. They looked like they were going to fold over and eat his massive thighs and surprisingly small, tight ass.
Oh, haha...back to Jesus. Anyways. You know, I always feel so bad about saying cliche things about God, but I think there are so many things that when we have a true understanding of them they are so great and powerful. Like the other day my brother was telling me that Pastor Steve told him that he could sum up Revelation in two words: "God Wins". The crazy thing is I was like, "Yeah, exactly" but it didn't move me a crazy ton. But my brother said it moved him to tears. And then I was thinking on it later, and I was moved to tears. Yes!! Rejoice! God wins! Score!!! Like, that is the so powerful...it puts all things in perspective. How did I not rejoice with my brother when he said that? Crazy, Caitlin...crazy, child.
God thank you for being so powerful and for loving us. Thank you for letting us join in your plan. Daddy, I know that you win...that is so great. Please teach me to have this perspective instead of one that is constantly looking to the hopelessness and sadness, because in you there is none of that. There is only love and joy and victory. Wow. You are great. I love you.
