August 17th
We got up at about 9. Got all dressed and went downstairs to have breakfast. We got our City Passes and then headed off to the tour bus stop. We did the Uptown tour with Simon as our tour guide (who was good) and then we did the downtown tour with Frank as our tour guide (who was not so good) It was majorly hot on the bus. After the tours we went to the hotel for a little bit of quiet time. We went to TGIFridays for an early supper at around four. We stopped at Barnes and Nobel on our way back to the hotel which is always fun. We went back to the hotel to get ready for Next to Normal! Our first Broadway show of the trip! The staff were all scary and unhappy. Hello you are working for a broadway show. SMILE! Next to Normal was good, sad though. We cried a little. After the show we went to the Top of the Rock (on top of Rockafeller Center) The view was ok but not wondrous. We went back to the hotel room and watched the Nanny :P and went to bed at midnight.
