So I just got back from New York and lucky you will now get the opportunity to read what I did while I was there. Yay! So August 16th...
I had to get up at 5:30 in the morning...a time I feel should not exist for any reason. Who's idea was it to put it there anyway? Stupid -_- So I got dressed and ate some food and we actually ended up being at the airport at 7:30. Nice timing for our 8 am flight :P We flew to Calgary and landed there at 8:30 and then we hung out in the Maple Leaf lounge until 10:30 where we used their computers to buy our New York City Passes :P We went through customs at 10:30 just in case the line was crazy but it was fine and surprisingly our Customs Officer joked around with us which was wondrous. We found our gate and then went off in search of food. We decided on Harvey's. After we ate it was time to board so on the plane we trooped. Our flight was delayed about 40 minutes :( We finally took off and I watched I Love You Man and then fell asleep during Ghosts of Girlfriends Past :D We landed at 7:40 New York time and this sketch "cab driver" gave us a ride to our hotel. We checked in and then went off in search of City Passes and food. We decided to eat a Bubba Gumps even though we had to wait like 30 minutes. It was yummy. We got some cheesecake on the way back to the hotel because you have to... and then we unpacked and went to bed.
