We all say we can't wait for summer to come and how much fun it's going to be but once you are past the age of about 14(ok ok I waited until 18 :P ) Summer no longer really means fun and instead means work. Sure you'll have a couple of adventures planned haphazardly stuck in between your many days of work but mostly you are just trading your full time school schedule for a full time work schedule which is actually more time that that 'full time' school was. If you are unlucky enough to have two jobs over the summer (or more I suppose) than you can just about kiss your social life and that rested feeling you alluded to have on weekends goodbye. Oh sure you are probably all saying "but what about all that money you are earning?" Well if you are anything like me (which I hope for your sake you are not) then you are a pathological spender. Unfortunately I have a credit card. Which means I can buy totally awesome things off the internet that I in no way need and about three days after receiving said items wonder why I ever even wanted them. So I spend large amounts of time working and very little amounts of time rolling in large amounts of money. Ok I'll stop now.
I'm making it sound like I hate summer (which I don't) and my jobs(which I also shockingly don't). I just really like to complain :D I have also managed to have some fun this summer. I went to Seattle last month to see Rent which was amazing and the rest of the trip was fun too. I never took the time to write out a nice detailed explanation of that one a la New York. Sucks. I am going back to New York in a little under a month though. Maybe I'll do another minute by minute kind of thing :P Ooh boy the same thing twice right? Yay!
Other than that I am about to embark on a house/pet sitting adventure this weekend and another one in about a week. I am le uber popular. Sssh I'll believe what I want! I am also just getting over a cold which has left me with an annoying and completely lame little cough that sounds completely fake -_-. Lame.
And there you have it. Another delightfully quick update on the life of Morgan that I know you were all so anxious to read
