Dan and I are planning our 2nd annual Solstice/Christmas/Channukah open house. It is two weeks from tomorrow and we have our work cut out for us. I tried out the smoker I got from princess auto a few weeks back. I would not say it was a disaster because it worked, after a fashion, and I eventually got the pork loin cooked. However, it was certainly not idea, it was not sealed well, the heat, as well as the smoke escaped and it was darn hard to add more charcoal as needed. That said, I ( Read more... )

Nothing catastrophic in the last week has happened and that is a good thing. I was getting rather tired of that. Dan continues to make progress, his strength is building back up again.
