One Rainbow left for Brownies :-( I mean it was planned but it was also half a term earlier than I expected and she was a very big characters Day two of the week and yet I am tired enough for at least Thursday if not Friday. Which is unfortunate given tomorrow is a 12 hour day because I'm giving a talk in the evening.

This week is not being a great week. I mean the Rainbows were lovely and sanity saving as always (don't tell them that) and choir was good but basically this week has involved both a wake up call as to exactly how much work I have to do... well last week ideally and then added some more work on top of it and yesterday I actually reached that point ( Read more... )

Best thing that happened today was the email from Girlguiding saying that they're going to be merging the waiting list & main database system so there's omly the one \o/ onestly the time & stress that those two have caused me and my mentees make this a VERY good news day ( Read more... )

I had a meeting tonight that was almost unnervingly short. It's normally around the 2 hour mark, if it's less we get rewarded with drinks afterwards but that certainly doesn't happen every month. Today it lasted 55 minutes! Everyone was a little concerned we'd missed something ( Read more... )

I have a cold.
