As always Easter has left me shattered but very happy. It's been really lovely this year, even the Easter Monday Pilgrimage today which has occasionally been quite stressful (and often involves a lot of tidying up) went beautifully smoothly and everyone was cheerful and there was almost no rubbish at the end ( Read more... )

Tomorrow our Easter Sunday service is being broadcast on the BBC and this morning I VERY much enjoyed sitting in bed reading & seeing all the photographs of the seemingly endless rehearsal process going on in the Abbey... Apparently it's Easter Monday and April and I really don't see how either of those things happened but here we are.

I've been having a VERY good year for reading so far, it took till nearly the end of May last year to have read this many books, and I've enjoyed most of them too.

Happy Easter!

The Easter Vigil service was as beautiful as always <3 We had a lovely little girl at the back of the church who was merrily chattering to herself and after a while we realised that she was repeeating Alleluia (or rather various attempts at it) over and over again which was understandable given quite how many times the word appears ( Read more... )

So tired and this weekend? KJV at the Globe tomorrow 9-4 then last minute Easter shopping then Unity at the Cross Service and then all day Saturday travelling to/exploring Arundel Castle before returning for the Easter Vigil service in the evening then Easter Day with a service in the morning and one in the early evening and then the Easter Monday ( Read more... )
