World of Warcraft calls it looting, so I guess it is. :P

Maybe they are planing to do a Blake's 7 thing, where all the main characters die in the final episode. I suppose the justification would be in the payoff, having set them all up to die in some ironic fashion.

At this point... I wish.

The main protagonist annoys me to no end.

i really cannot stand things like that, when there's no one i identify with or want to root for. that's when i lose interest very quickly. i remember seeing open water and wishing the two of them would just shut up and drown already, or get eaten by a shark or something.

we have it tivo'd but haven't watched it yet. i'm skeptical since so far the few reviews from my friends have all been very 'meh.'

in regards to slow pilots though, i find a lot of shows to be this way for some reason. i still hate the house, md pilot even though it turned into a show i ended up loving and have seen every episode. it took me three or more tries to get through the LOST pilot, and though i never finished the series it definitely kept me very engaged for a few years.

Well hellocatgirl seemed to like it and I'm willing to give it another chance but I wouldn't say it intrigued me. I would probably forget about the show and move on to something else if I never saw another episode.

It usually takes a show a few episodes to get me too. For instance I hated Buffy and Dollhouse in the beginning but after several episodes I loved it. And I agree the House pilot was horrible but the show is awesome now. I think a lot of people expect walking dead to be a show about zombies and it is not.

I guess that's where I was wrong. I did think it was a show about zombies.

so agreed on dollhouse too!

i think the fact that it's not just another zombie movie stretched out into a show is actually what intrigues me. i'm pretty over that, along with pirates, vampires, etc lol.

I'm very over the whole vampire thing. I haven't watched any of the Twilight films and I only saw one episode of True Blood. Could stand watching anymore of it. Anna's horrible southern accent was too much for me. :)

i am hot & cold with true blood though i've seen all of it, was one of those things where i was committed to it and it also became a social thing so i had an excuse, heh. however, pretty much every episode i wanted to punch sookie in the face. it only gets worse, and her mouth is just...i don't know. something awful.

never seen or read any twilight. my sister was into the books, but she's 15 so it's okay :p

I really like True Blood but its only because I really love certain characters. Sookie is a very annoying character and so is Tara. Jason just keeps getting dumber and dumber.

However... I love Lafayette, Eric and Pam. If the show was just them and maybe the Queen... I would still watch it. In fact I would watch it more.

yeah, i mean, i think in a way it should (needs to?) have characters i don't love, but sometimes the storyline just gets a little too ridiculous and soap opera-y...which is bound to happen with anything involving so much sex but still ( ... )
