AMC's The Walking Dead
I just watched the Pilot Episode and the 2nd Episode.
The Pilot was easily one of the most boring zombie experiences I have had in a long time. How does a show about ZOMBIES manage to have NO HUMAN DEATH? I mean there were plenty of zombies shot and gory human corpses but no humans were actively devoured or turned during the course of the Pilot.
The 2nd episode was faster paced and it showed a red Dodge Challenger plowing through zombies. Still no humans devoured. My friend and I started hoping someone would just get bitten already and were picking out who we wanted to see eaten. No one was eaten but this episode was much more fun.
I would watch more episodes but I am not sure how great they will be. The dialogue is a little boring (as in I zoned out a few times during their character development sessions) and it's only fun getting angry at the asinine chatter while discussing how it would be cooler.
The only realistic/fun character is the Asian kid with the Dodge Challenger. I'd like to see more of him (he calls people dumbasses and stuff).
Worst line of the show. "Do you think it's looting if everyone is dead?"
