A Converstation With My Mom:
(Due to one of her medications, my Mom eats sweets ALL DAY LONG!)
"Mom, did you ever think there would be a time of your life where you could just sit on the couch and eat ice cream, chocolate and cookies all day long and not care?" Mom: "Well, no. I really shouldn't be eating all these sweets, I just spent $1500 on my teeth."

A Converstation With A Home Care Worker:
Me: "Mom's really sad today, she has been crying alot, just to let you know."
Care Worker: "Must be the rain, rain always makes people sad."
Me: "Well, I really think it's the brain tumor that's making her sad."
Care Worker: "Yeah, there's that, too."

A Conversation with Almost Everyone:
Everyone: How's your mom?
Me: "She's still dying."

A Conversation with Anya:
Me: "After Grammie dies, she want's to give you her couch for your room, if you want it. It has a pull out bed that you could sleep on as well."
Anya: "That's great! And when Grammie spends the night, she can sleep on it."
Me: "Well, Anya, the point is that Grammie won't be around to use it herself, that's why you get it."
Anya: "Oh, well. I guess I'll still take it. Too bad Grammie won't be able to use it to sleep over."
