Wants to be a cool kid too
Another day in Crystal Tokyo. Another day in the long war the world is facing in that future with the Golden Crystal Kingdom in full power. The war is still in a stalemate, the enemy waiting in low profile and the kingdom forces regathering and improving their strength, planning for the final assault. It's a matter of a few days, soon the order will come, soon Venus and Kunzite will agree that they are ready, that their strategy is good, and they will attack and defeat the enemy.
She has little time left in this world, this future. The one where she can be in civil terms with the senshi. With Ami. She will miss it, but she can't remain here for much longer. She doesn't belong to this time, she has to return to her own time, no matter how better this one may seem. It's okay thought, she has a lot of things to do in the past. She has to talk with a lot of people, not to ask for forgiveness though she intends to apologize for her faults, not the ones she has been apologizing for up until now, but the new ones she has come to realize about thanks to the nexus. She has to apologize to her parents for not understanding, assure them that she's fine, make them realize that they don't have to worry or be scared about her, she's fine. She has to do so to Shingo too, to his spirit, because surely she has made him worry a lot. Then the shitennou and the senshi, and Naru, and Demando...
The training grounds are a wide area, with no eyes spying on it from hiding places. Usagi is at the center of it, easily visible, sword in hand as she practices on her own. She keeps in mind everything she has been taught, everything she has learned by herself, every advice she has been given, by Kunzite or the other shitennou, even by that other Kunzite she trained with not long ago. She still has a lot of room to improve, a lot of things to learn about... But she's getting there, slowly but surely.
What will the nexus do to her now? Make her change for the better or ruin it all?
