Christmastime Is Here~

There's a feeling of warmth in the air, even though snow is falling just outside the windows. There's a faint but noticeable aroma of...something decidedly holiday-esque. Gingerbread maybe, or cinnamon. Laughter and happy chattering echo up and down the hallways. Everyone seems to be in a good mood, bustling here and there, squeezing by everyone

Venus - always Venus in the nexus, it seems; she wastes no time transforming whenever she finds herself transported - stands a little off to the side, watching the preparations with a calm, almost thoughtful expression. She doesn't approach or interrupt the workers, but she seems appreciative of their efforts.

The shitennou takes his time with his own decorating, seeming more lost in thought than anything.

He circles the tree, laying the garland along the limbs carefully. As he turns, something catches his attention from the corner of his eye. He glances up. Sailorvenus? It's her. There's a smile for her, warmer than before, and he leaves his work carefully to approach her.

"Welcome," he says quietly, once he's close enough.

Venus stays where she is, but returns the greeting once Kunzite is close enough. "I'm sorry for intruding." She hadn't planned to crash his world's festivities, but now that she's here, if he's willing to let her stay, she will.

"It looks very nice. Like Christmas," she says. She can remember, as perhaps so can he, an era before that holiday existed. Perhaps this is just meant for Yule instead.

"Neo-Queen Serenity-sama is still fond of the decorating and presents and festivities. So, the holiday season still continues for her sake." Kunzite can remember that time as well, but he appreciates the smiles and happiness this brings the other shitennou. It was more than time they got to enjoy such things.

The princess of Venus seems quite put off as she realizes that the ballroom she's entered is not, in fact, her own. Were it not for the very familiar faces she finds before her, she might even transform. Instead, she pauses upon the threshold, her eyes sliding closed as she extends her senses as far as she may around her. There is no danger, only an unfamiliar place and the four powerful men within the room. Nodding to herself, she opens her eyes once more and allows a small smile to slip across her lips. It is not a place she knows, but with such company, she holds no fear.

Her eyes find the silver haired shitennou after another moment, glittering in amusement at the armful of shining garland. Moving gracefully across the floor, Venus passes the other three men around their tree to proceed to Kunzite's side.

"Would you appreciate a hand to help, Lord Kunzite?"

Kunzite knows that voice well, even as he turns his head to look at her from the corner of his eye. He deposits the decorations in his arms carefully and turns fully to the woman so as not to be rude. "Venus," he greets kindly, with an equally warm smile. "It's an honor to see you here at such an impromptu time. Welcome."

At her offer, he looks back to the tree. "I wouldn't want to trouble you in such a manner on my behalf, but your company is always welcome."

"It's no trouble at all." With a pert smile, Venus reaches for the box of ornaments. Lifting a silver one up, she looks at it closely, what almost looks like a confused look on her face. "Although I must say; I never knew the esteemed leader of the shitennou had such a taste in decoration. May I ask the occasion?"

There's a soft chuckle. "Christmas. It's a holiday Neo-Queen Serenity-sama is fond of. There are presents exchanged and it's a time of cheer and togetherness. And, as you can see, decorations."
