Christmastime Is Here~
There's a feeling of warmth in the air, even though snow is falling just outside the windows. There's a faint but noticeable aroma of...something decidedly holiday-esque. Gingerbread maybe, or cinnamon. Laughter and happy chattering echo up and down the hallways. Everyone seems to be in a good mood, bustling here and there, squeezing by everyone else who's squeezing by them. Only a select few people manage to part the crowds successfully: royals and nobles, and those with armfuls of decorations. The silver-white haired shitennou happens to fit into both the noble and the armful-of-decorations category. Zoisite is beside him, chattering cheerfully to him with his own armload of ridiculously sparkly gold garland.
The pair make their way into a grand ballroom that's somehow mostly devoid of people. Strange considering the amount outside. Only the other two shitennou, Jadeite and Nephrite, are inside. There are four tall evergreen trees, one for each corner, and it seems each shitennou has adopted their own tree. Zoisite gives Nephrite's somewhat clumsy decorating a critical look and pauses to help. Jadeite eventually comes over too. Kunzite only watches a moment with a small smile before returning to what appears to be the tree he's decided (or perhaps been designated to) decorate. As of yet, it's untouched. He sets down the ornaments carefully, before picking up a heap of something white and glittery that turns out to be a long rope of garland.
