Glee Top 108 - #098 "Poison"
Going to work my way through the 108 songs, hopefully one per day. This includes all 100 released singles, whether they appeared on the show or not, as well as 8 which were not, over the course of season 1. It was difficult for me to play favorites and put them all in some order, it’s just not something I’m comfortable at doing, but then I DID want to do it, so I buckled down and now here we are.

Yay, Acafellas! Yes, they are a hoot, despite certain failings here and there. At the very least, it can make you smile. The guys all manage to bring something, some more surprisingly than others. Will, for example, had already been shown to us as having his talents, but this one wasn’t so much about that. Here he was, having fun, getting in touch with a part of himself he’d left behind, for the most part. To me it showed once more how he is still so much like the kids in Glee Club. Then Mr. Baritone Ken Tanaka, coming off pretty darn good. I think that was one of the first times I saw myself liking him. Henri… poor guy with his thumbs all gone. Still, he rocked it with the rest of the group.
But then… Howard Freakin’ Bamboo! I love that guy so much, just too sweet for words a lot of the time. And I was all ‘hey!’ that they didn’t given him a good review. Bamboo was the bomb! Had his Sheets ‘N Things name tag still on! He had moves and pipes I had not expected from him, and he looked so much less mope-y; he had me giggling! Also in the giggles, my good little fangirl Emma, about to slip but then remembering and awkwardly re-aligning her cheers!
