Glee Top 108 - #099 "Crush"
Going to work my way through the 108 songs, hopefully one per day. This includes all 100 released singles, whether they appeared on the show or not, as well as 8 which were not, over the course of season 1. It was difficult for me to play favorites and put them all in some order, it’s just not something I’m comfortable at doing, but then I DID want to do it, so I buckled down and now here we are.

This brought me back… there have been a couple of those along the way. This one has the unfortunate issue of having been cut short, but even then, the things we did see have a lot going for them. Primarily and pretty much all resting on one thing:
Didn’t Lea/Rachel look so very cute? On her own she looked adorable, sitting back there… freaking sweet already. But then she pulls these faces, and this one little halted number is that much more great. Still it was cut short, and trapped in that car, which doesn’t help in the end. I would have loved if we could have seen it as a bigger production somehow, maybe a dream sequence, I don’t know. Maybe it’s because we do get to hear there’s that much more to the song, and again there’s the nostalgia aspect. I don’t know, I feel she could have done wonders with it given a bigger stage.
