So, I found out yesterday that the people who own our building are selling... Wonderful... one of two things will happen... they will kick us out or raise our rent significantly... *sigh* We're gonna keep our eyes out for a new place... I don't know what it is about cleaning this place, but it makes me feel like doing more! Not necessarily cleaning... but something! Most days I leave the livingroom door shut and I play in here with the monkey, but he had free reign today! And he was awesome! He hardly touched the books or DVD's! Wow time flies... I still maintain that this isn't my season, but I'm feeling better about it. I found out I have a couple family member in town that I didn't know were coming home!!! That definitely sort of made it for me! That and one of my aunts who I thought hated my father gave me a gift that almost made me cry (she told me to open it early. ( Read more... )

My landlord showed up about 3 hours after I told him what happened and roughly how bad it might be... *sigh* Good news is that he got what he could do done and the plumber showed up shortly after to fix the pipe. It sort of sucked for him though... The leaky pipe was a T type shape, so it connected in three places... one of those places was leaky. ( Read more... )

Our ceiling in the kitchen exploded in the middle of the night. I know at least that much because neither of us heard it last night... and of course, my landlord is in Moncton and won't be here until almost 10...
