some truth I know

I woke up this morning
thinking about how we create our worlds
so in some
way
or form
we are all responsible
for almost everything
that happens in our world
I am here
in the place I am in
in the condition I am in
because of choices I made
My life is what it is
because of decisions I made
actions I took
I am who I am because of these things
for better or worse
in many ways
this is evidence to me
that we are the gods
in our own little universe
and my god
often
needs to think longer about some of her
choices
