(no subject)
Not much new happening here. Work is keeping me quite busy lately as it seems I have inherited a couple problem child projects. It doesn't need to be a big deal, but things would go much smoother if certain individuals would check their e-mail/voicemail and actually take the 5 minutes to respond. It's all about the lack of communication and it's absolutely unnecessary...at least in my opinion.
Other than that, it was a fairly quiet weekend. We had dinner with friends on Saturday at one of my favorite Thai restaurants. I got to pick the restaurant because I'm the picky eater these days and I really felt like spicy Thai. I love spicy food, too bad it doesn't love me lately. We had a great dinner, but I paid and paid and paid for it the rest of the weekend. Ugh!
Sunday my husband spent the majority of the day getting ready for an interview that he has this afternoon. So, instead of watching TV all day, I went shopping and had some me time. I am starting to need bigger clothes, so I took the plunge at the maternity store in the mall. I got a bunch of pants, mostly stuff for work since I pretty much just wear sweats at home. I'm not quite ready for them yet, but I refuse to spend money on just bigger size regular clothes that aren't going to fit for very long. At least with maternity stuff it expands with me for a while. I also happened to stop at the Disney store. We are visiting my nephews next weekend and I have to spoil them...it's my job as their aunt. So, I got the big one Buzz Lightyear pj's and the little one Finding Nemo. I also got them a couple little toys that were on sale too. I couldn't resist.
