Summer break is here. ♥ It was such a relief once Thursday was done and over with even though all I pretty much did on that day was make breads and cookies. Project went well, and the chefs seemed to like 'em so I'm happy with how it turned out.

So this week Chef has been showing us the awesome-ness that is cake. I, of course geeked out and went the whole ten yards in doing things perfect. Sadly we didn't get to mess with fondant or do anything too fancy.. Buuuuut.

So I'm sure some of you are wondering "What the heck does one do in pastry school? It must be such a fun, easy job!" Well let me tell you, being a pastry chef is not for those faint of heart.
