My First Business Trip
It has been decided that I am to go to Los Angeles to meet clients for our current major project. I'll be in LA from February 6 to February 9.
Our project requires some voiceover production. It's the biggest voiceover production project our company has done, I think, but compared to other games with lots of voiceover, this one isn't so big. There's very little lip synching to do.
In any case, I'm pretty excited to be working on this project in the first place, and this business trip is also exciting. I'm visiting a couple of voiceover production studios before our main client (hereafter The Big Gaming Cheese) makes the final decision on which studio to use. We've already decided on a director, who is actually quite experienced in the videogame industry (he's also done his fine share of voiceacting). You've probably even played a game he did the voiceover direction for. Also exciting.
It's kinda fun keeping secrets from everyone, too. Muahaha.
