One More Tick on the Japan Living Checklist
Today, I finally signed an apartment leasing contract. The initial deposit came to 180,000 yen split between myself and my once-and-future roommate. Not as bad as I thought, to be honest.
In any case, I feel a lot more secure about being able to continue life here in this country. The next big thing I'll have to worry about now is renewing my visa, which expires at the end of March this year.
Kinda hard to believe it's been nearly a year since I moved away from the States. I wonder how long I'll spend my life here.
