Half a bajillion years ago I actually had a little spare cash, and I invested it in a permanent LJ account. Because of that, I do not currently plan to delete my LJ account, but I will be a great deal more circumspect and even more infrequent in posting here ( Read more... )

...because I saw somewhere that you could use LogJam to post to Dreamwidth...

[EDIT] ...aaaaand, it works! No way to access the Age Restriction setting, though, sadly, and my journal default of "Access List" for security trumps setting "Public" with LogJam.

Ok, I just couldn't help but laugh at the phrasing here: "Give the user a warning message when they edit/post an entry that will trigger the 'zomg\!bad\!markup\!' error."

So I thought I'd try posting something from Dreamwidth to see how that crossposting feature works. I expect it to be pretty transparent, actually: just set up the other account to post to, and check the checkbox on the posting page if you didn't set it up for automatic.
