Two big choices to make today... errr, soon.

a. vegetarian?

I was a vegetarian for five and a half years before the start of February. But then I stopped. Why did I stopped? I guess you could also ask, "Why were you still going?" I had gotten so used to it that I wanted a change.

But now, I am suffering severe ex-vegetarian guilt. And the thing is, I still DO think it's wrong to kill animals for food (whether you do or not). Yes I realize this greatly contradicts my burger post from just yesterday, but hey, almost six years ago I went vegetarian at the breakfast table (while in Ithaca, NY). It was a two-minute decision that lasted me five and a half years. I saw all these vegetarian options so I ordered vegetarian. At lunch, I did the same thing. Dinner, same thing. I guess I just kept going...

So, the pros? No more guilt, saving animals lives, healthier (this is debatable, but I think so). Cons? Meat tastes good, less options.

b. earrings?

So I had an 8g curved barbell in each ear which were really nice. But I wanted to move up, either to a 4g or 6g curved barbell. So I got 6g plugs, that way I could just stick the 6g curved barbells in or jump up to 4g curved barbells after a month.

But now, I've lost seven of the o-rings that come with the plugs. I keep losing them, going to the store, putting them back on, and then losing them again. It's gotten to the point where I've just stopped and now there's only an o-ring at the front of the ear. Problem is, the right one keeps falling out, every night, and every morning it's kind of a bitch to get it back it.

So, the question is: do I keep getting more o-rings? do I splurge and get the curved barbells now? or do I put back in my 8g curved barbells and say "fuck it"?
