hope in my soul
Today is one of those days I have to blog like a 15 year-old. Yes. I have those days. Got a problem with that? Then (wait for it...) there's the x at the right-hand corner (honestly, I've never typed this out when I was 15; I've typed out worse -_-).
Anyway.
I joined OMM today! Oh wow! As a violinst! LAGI OH WOW! I'm still in disbelief. I haven't worked out what that'll mean for me but it'll come to me eventually.
Oh wow!
And Iman's in too! Also as a violinist!
All thanks to Azryl. This is what I call networking!
As I sat in the room playing Azryl's old (blinged out) violin, it all came back to me. The smell of musty carpet, the freezing air-con, the smell of wood and rosin.. everything. Not necessarily a good thing considering I dreaded Saturday mornings all those years ago. But here I am happy as a lamb to be back.
My skills have not improved but on the plus side, I'm not all that rusty. I can still play a decent Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Haha it's a re-start.
I do hope I get to be on stage when the time is right. I have missed it so. Though I wouldn't call myself a performer, I love doing just that- performing.
And the people I've met today are just stellar so I hope I won't screw this up.
We'll see how it goes. Can't wait to tell Mon. Hope he's not emitting out too much Co2.
