Friday night I dutifully marched out to the local theatre with falfax, jimberly, looking_askance, anarkistdream, cadence1, R, C2, Brickman, and Weems. The bottom-line: Grindhouse is the most mind-blowingly refreshing attack on mainstream cinema of the past 12 years; Four and a half stars out of 5 for the film, and 5 stars for theatrical exhibition presentation without question. Casanova (2005) - A very cliche-ridden film I watched with falfax, techix and looking_askance Friday night. Just as the film was wrapping up I called out, "And now you'll see cursive lettering spell out the word, 'The End' before it fades out". Within seconds it happened.
