Pre-production Day 2: Countdown to the Shoot

Sep 07, 2007 16:41

Today's been an avalanche of personal communications between myself and anyone that's ever remotely indicated helping out as a crew member. Based on promises so far, we're looking pretty good. Last night was unbelievable creative-wise. Wednesday night when I'd worked on it 2.5 hrs it was so slow in going; I just hadn't worked all the changes out in my head. But by last night as soon as the cable guy left around 7:15, I started working on the script again in earnest with a very positive attitude, and before I knew it, I finished this 3rd draft at 1:30 AM, feeling absolutely positive and happy about it. The whole last act changed drastically, and no longer had to be a compromise; it should satisfy both the audience and my own self very very much!

Tonight I'll likely go see 3:10 to Yuma with falfax, but then tomorrow I'll devote most of the day to breaking down the schedule and getting back to everyone with hardcore call-times for the following weekend. Fun!
