The very first, unedited, un-altered, un-fucked with, un-Greedo-Shoots-First version of the Star Wars Trilogy will be released on limited edition DVD from September 12-December 31, 2006.
The releases will apparently be individually packaged as two disk sets that contain the original, unaltered version and the 2004 cinema release (with whatever new edits he's decided to make).
With all of this shilling for our cash, I really have to wonder if George Lucas is trying to fund his own Death Star or something...
And I'm still waiting on the digitally remastered Howard the Duck, bastard.
