In what language do you think?

A few weeks ago I watched an interview with Ville in which he said he thinks in 'Finlish', somewhere in between Finnish and English.

That made me realize that I think most of the time in English! It's true! And that's particularly funny, because I don't speak this language in my daily life...
My mother language is actually Portuguese - yes, in Brazil we DON'T speak Brazilian, that language doesn't exist - so I probably think with English grammar mistakes (LOL), but in English anyway.

I don't really know why. Maybe because all things I like are related somehow with English language: the music I like, the websites I like to visit, and also because I'm constantly translating to Portuguese all sorts of HIM material for HIM Brasil.

I think the more languages you speak, the most confusing it can be! When I studied French, I use to think in 'Frenglish', which is even worse! And when I studied Spanish I couldn't think in Spanish at all because English and French would come to my mind faster than Spanish...
So, I can totally understand why Ville might think in Finlish... With English so present in his life, I think he even speak some random words in English without even noticing when he's at home back in Finland!

language, random, ville valo
