One thing that led to another

Often when I have moments such as yesterday's post, the day after, in this case, today,  I'm still thinking about what I said and I start to feel slightly silly. Well, actually, let me think again.

Hm, I think I don't feel silly, because I know that I'm almost invisible to many people. I'd like to know why, but it's subject for another post. So, usually no one notes when I create such a big text expressing my opinion on something and no one answers, which is as frustrating as when someone is radically against me.

When I have something to say, I think want to cause a reaction on other people and most of the times I don't get that... And that's why I realized yesterday after the post when I was about to sleep: I'm trying to create a debate. A DEBATE! It's so not me, I'd say...

So, in order to explain, I need to go back in time a little.
Every time I enter that Social Sciences department at my uni I can't stand those thousands of advertisements:

> Come discuss with us. Debate tomorrow, 7pm.
> This world is taken by imperialists, join our debate.
> Come be a part of our communist summer studies. We have debates every day.
> Do you vote conscientiously? Debate.
> Don't you like the chairs inside the classroom? There's a debate this Friday.
> Do you like yellow or blue? Debate.

I have to say the very word DEBATE annoyed me. Why someone have the necessity to debate everything? Can't you just think? LOL
And I'd probably want to add one of these comments here:
> Debates are useless
> Debates are silly

I'm sorry about my misjudgment. Debates are not silly. The topics are silly. I'm not interested in Social Sciences, even though I study International Relations and it's basically about SS. That's why debates (and everyone inside that building) used to annoy me so much.

So yesterday, deep inside me, I wanted to create a debate! For once I had an opinion (ok, not for once, I usually have loads of opinions) and needed to hear what people had to say about that. So, the point is, I was so unfair to those *silly* Social Scientists. To debate is nice. You just have to find a topic that makes you interested somehow. Yes, I don't have that at my uni course I'd say 90% of the time. Am I a utterly frustrated person? Yes and no.

However I'm interested to debate intellectual property, international law, music, HIM, and especially HIM's music, their intellectual property and what international law can say about it :D
If you want to join me, feel free.
And just to make this journal look beautiful, Ville!

Take care, sweethearts!

social sciences, debates
