The weens are still curious about Jonas but not as much as they first were. Mostly they just try to sneak into the house to lick him. Aurra is somewhat protective of him and growls at Obi sometimes when he gets near and she's around. Here are a couple of pics:

Two weeks ago, after the craziness of Fiesta and the parades finally being over, Ed and I headed up to Buda for the County Fair, specifically the 9th Annual Wiener Dog Races. About 2-3 weeks ago we noticed a small red bump on Aurras lower tummy. I thought it was a bug bite but then it didn't go away. It was the size of a ladybug. Then I thought it was a wart. She had picked at it and it had a little scab on it. Ed took the dogs to the vet last week to get their shots and nails clipped. The vet took a sample from the ( Read more... )

On Tuesday when I picked Aurra up to put her on the bed she winced as if her side was tender. I thought I had just grabbed her in a weird way and perhaps pinched her. My car cost $299 to fix. Ed got his timing belt changed. That was $778 with the 15% discount. Aurra is staying overnight at the vet because we think someone poisoned her. She's on an IV, has a catheter, and a cone on her head. :( Poor poor weiner dog. That's prolly going to cost more than a few hundred dollars. And rent is due. Gah. Good thing I ( Read more... )
