I keep going to exhibitions just as they're finishing, so it's always too late to tell anyone else about them. And lately I've been going to see exhibitions that have allowed me to take photos, so I've taken photos. And then I've posted them on Flickr, but neglected to even mention them on my blog. The day after I went to Bekonscot it was the Lates night at the Science Museum, and I got to see my stitched self on display, along with 258 others. There's a big report with loads of photos on the Stitch London blog, but here are some photos I took.

This Wednesday there's a Science Museum Lates event, for the launch of the new Who Am I? gallery, where you'll be able to see mini-me, on display with lots of other self-portrait dolls.

I'm not totally happy with mine, because the sewing pattern [pdf] left me with fat hands and really skinny legs. Also, the mouth is too pale and I forgot to add ( Read more... )
