I did watch the inauguration ceremony last Monday, mainly to look over the crowd and see what might happen. New trick! Last weekend I found my garden tractor had a flat front tire. The tires are tubeless, I saw what looked like a thorn or nail puncture, so I decided to buy a tire plug kit to repair it.

We just finished watching Over the Garden Wall, on HBO. I don’t recall anyone ever talking about this Emmy Award winning series though it premiered in 2014. *sigh* I am always behind the times. Anyway, it was well animated and the soundtrack delightful, and it was a nice little story overall.

We have gone back to an almost full staff at work. We are no longer quarantining items and have re-opened our book drop, but I’m still keeping masked and washing my hands several times during my day there. I’ve been told to reduce my computer/component hoard inventory at the Library, and reluctantly agreed. It was time, I suppose. I’ve slowly amassed the bits and pieces from around the building into a sizable collection in the Reference room. (TV TV) I’ve been watching the Prime Original series “Pete the Cat,” and enjoying it. The characters are sweet and supportive of one another without being schmaltzy or preachy. The stories are light and fun, colorful, and I like the retro-sixties feel they present in their telling; I’m enjoying these way beyond the book series*!

48 hours offline at home- no tv, phone, or Internet! Thankfully it was an equipment failure, easily remedied, and took less than 15 minutes to get us back and running.

It was actually peaceful being offline in the evening and early mornings. I read a book (next post), watched some videos, including some Rescue Rangers episodes on DVD, and perused ( Read more... )
