So LJ has added special features to our photo albums. They are more pleasant to look through (and I have so many pictures here), but I haven’t done anything other than that so far.

Not long after setting up the second critter-cam yesterday the local herd came through. This was my favorite shot out of the 23 it took. This is 4mp, but it can take up to 20mp, and there are camera settings I can fine tune; it has potential!

I was at my brother's today going through some of the collected memories of my father today (those things that were important to him and now filed away in boxes). In the bottom of one box were several glass photographic plates, negatives, from around the 1890's, I believe. I bought a new scanner this week because I wanted to digitize my forgotten media: 35mm slides. Most of mine go back to the mid-70s, but I have access to many that are older still.
