A small vacation
The family has traveled to San Diego, and it’s just me and the pup until Saturday. I’ll admit Sophie’s a bit confused over this, but I won’t let my wife know: it would upset her.
I haven’t done much, so far. They left yesterday and I just did little things around the house. I did get into the pool for a bit; It’s nice that we’re a bit secluded here… Dinner last night was nice. I grilled two rib eye steaks (one for today), and then watched some Bluey on tv.
(All pics expand) A new grill- we’re almost at empty nest here so the big one will get less use.
Today I picked our blueberries, and baked a cake!

I rarely use the springform pan, so this was a fun adventure.
And I’m futzing around with the Bing AI a little when I should be using the time to sketch a bit. O well.
