(no subject)
I am a horrible journaller as you all can probably tell.
Ok that is not true, it is just I do most of my stuff at Tumblr and Twitter. Which by the way I switched names on both, as I think I finally have retired the esca naming scheme. (Sad I know, but sometimes one has to move on). My name on Tumblr is kristenique (obviously if you are already following me you should know this because I haven't actually switched tumblrs) and my name on Twitter is now kristenship which is the same thing. I also have a new AIM name which is kristenize So if you want to im me please do so! (Just let me know who you are if you aim names don't match.)
So just various things:
+ Am I the only one legit shipping Charlize Theron and Kristen Stewart based on their promotional interviews and clips for Snow White and the Hunstmen (or as nerds have me calling it: Snow White and the Seven Thors)? Because like this legit would be a huge thing if they were two white cis dudes. But yeah I ship it, and unlike my previous RPF attempts, this would be respectable.
+ Speaking of movie related things, I will apparently be seeing Avengers on Saturday after three weeks of almosts. Not that i actually care that much. But it is good that I am seeing it this weekend because once Snow White and The Huntsman and Prometheus are out any care I have towards Avengers would be gone because I am all over those films.
I admit most of my apathy for Avengers is due to a) my feelings block regarding anything dc or marvel comics related and b) Joss Whedon (I will never forgive him for Dollhouse or the proposed Inara gang-rape which has now made me forever glad that Firefly was cancelled) even if it is generally decent aside from Joss I still feel bitter when I hear his name.
+ Been keeping up with Korra, but I feel fandom and people have zipped any inclination I have to talk about it. You know except the requisite FUCK OFF ASAMI HATERS, SHE'S AWESOME. So yeah there is that. Maybe I will feel ok discussing it after marathoning the first 12 eps once they air, right now fandom is just kinda killing the buzz I have for it by being terrible. But if you are curious about any feelings I have about Korra feel free to ask me!
+ In other news, streaming Hulu+ on Xbox has been a treasure trove of amazing. My computer is too old to handle streaming or really playing any high quality video file (Guys I downloaded City Hunter in 720p and 1040p to make graphics and my comp can't reliably play it and when I looked it seems I just don't have the video card for it, sadly I'm only halfway there to a new computer). But anyways this streaming has allowed me to watch tv! So I've been watching New Girl!
And can I say I love it? Like when I first heard about it I kinda passed it off as something that would be terrible, but it is actually really delightful! It is just weirdoes in their late twenties/early thirties living together and being dorks and I love them all? And I am ridiculously invested and am really sad that my parents have absconded with the tv to watch the Heats game because I just want to watch it all.
And after that I will catch up on Parks and Recreation because I miss it.

Probs will check out King 2 Hearts and Rooftop Prince but I'm waiting for them to finish.
