Everything is coming up Sexy Cat Aliens (Or how Kristen's life became a disaster in 48 hours)
So I was kind of relieved when I realized that after downing all of Young Justice and then realizing that there was a huge timeskip at the beginning of season 2 which pretty much put my interest in YJ back down to 0, that I would only have to worry about catching up with Korra every Saturday. Which since I am horrible at keeping up with TV as it airs is a pretty big blessing.
And so I spent time rewatching stuff. I rewatched the first season and had the adequate amount of feels about how two certain lizard aliens should bone and make lizard babies and well that's all there is in the life of a Kristen.
But then! I caught a terrible disease. A terrible disease known as...THUNDERCATS!!
I know you're probably thinking...what that really corny cartoon from the 80s with cat people? Except now there is a remake and it stars Eric Mathews (OH my god and when he does the whole "THunder Cats!HO" thing he like lowers his voice in this really hilarious way.) and it starts off kind of terrible, but then gets kinda good (I mean it is never quite good but it IMPROVES) but outside of quality it keeps you engaged until finally you wake up and realize "OH MY GOD I CARE ABOUT WHAT HAPPENS IN THUNDERCATS"
So I guess now that is something that I am watching. I don't know that I recommend it, as i really think it is a soul sucking mechanism and I am a disaster. Really if you're curious you should just watch this:
Which is to say I am now on the edge of my seat for both Korra and Thundercats this Saturday.
P.S. How great is it that we now live in an age where cartoon people get to legit make out. Remember way back when when WB or something put the kibosh on kissing in X-Men: Evolution and I was forever marked as Kristen: KISSBLOCKED BY EVERYONE but now everyone freaking makes out in cartoons. It is glorious.
