'Angel' notes, mid-season 4:

1) I was actually sort of bummed that Lilah died. She was fun, for a baddie.
2) Willow hitting on Fred was rather cute. Fred hitting on Willow was unexpected and quite funny!
3) No idea why Cordy is being The Evil right now, or whether she's actually pregnant, but I'm thinking things will get uglier before they get prettier.
4) Angelus is, at times, way sexier than Angel. I'm thinking here of the smirking, seductive wicked murmurs when he's aiming to rile up his old friends, and the feline grace with which he drapes himself across the cell bars and watches their reactions. Sure, he's awful, but...mmm. Tasty-awful.
5) For the first time since her very first appearance back on 'Buffy', I'm sort of liking Faith again. Curious what will happen when she arrives in Sunnydale.

Speaking of which...

'Buffy' notes, mid-season 7:

1) I see some parallelism happening between the series at the same time here. Angel and Spike are both being manipulated by a higher evil, their nasty-vamp sides coming out and hurting people on occasion.
2) I have been told I'd hate Kennedy, but I don't. She seems all right to me.
3) I laugh way more than I should whenever Andrew appears. Best bit lately was when Xander had his disastrous date with a demon chick, came home, and demanded he was ready to turn gay--"Gay me up, Willow. Let's gay. I'm mentally undressing Scott Bakula right now." To which Andrew sighs in rapture, "Captain Archer!"
4) I've said it before, but thank God for Giles. And thank God he wasn't yet another dead agent of the First. "You think I'm evil if I bring a group of girls on a camping trip and don't touch them?" (*huge grin*)
5) I feel like a dork. When getting all these hints of "The First" being the big bad this season, I thought for a long time that they meant the first Slayer. Which didn't make a lot of sense, as you might imagine.

As for Harry Potter book 7, I'm in the middle of it, and I do plan to write a condensed parody version too. Whee. I bet that really lightens your post-series gloom.

Cheers--
