As I was reading HP7, my most frequent thought was "Wow, Molly's going to have an absolute field day with all these wand references."

I, too, missed Lilah. She really grew on me and ended up being my favorite antagonist on the show.

Faith is awesome. I actually like her, even when she's evil and crazy, but this Faith is probably my favorite. Back when I was first watching Buffy re-runs when I was fifteen or sixteen, it annoyed me that Buffy essentially fought evil in high heels and butterfly barrettes. Ten years and change later, I actually find that kind of charming, but back then I thought Faith was much more like what I thought a Slayer should look and act like, with the leather and combat boots. Plus, I just like her pragmatic attitude. And I love the way she interacts with Connor.

"My jeans are too tight to get my wand out!" You mean stuff like that? Heheh. It shall be duly noted, oh yes.

Both Buffy and Faith need to tie their hair back. How the heck can they win so often with it flipping into their faces? I know that's really to help obscure the faces of the stunt women, and because guys think long hair is hot on chicks, but that would drive me crazy.

I bet that really lightens your post-series gloom.

Yes, it does, although I'm not that gloomy.

I could never warm to Kennedy because I thought she had no chemistry with Willow compared to Tara.

Ah, well, I never got over Oz, so even Tara didn't mean that much to me. ;)

I'm with you there. I always twitched a bit when she kept saying "gay now." Er, Oz? No attraction there at all? Wouldn't it be more truthful to admit to bisexuality, especially since she kept being attracted to Oz?

I sort of wish she hadn't pretended to "convert" instead of just saying she expanded her horizons or something. I mean, people would absolutely throw fits if a character "converted" from gay to straight!

I liked Kennedy, too! I think people resented her not being Tara, which... well, she wasn't. That was sort of the point. But she's a good character on her own terms!

But then I like Dawn, too. :-)

I didn't mind Tara, but Oz has my heart as Willow-mates go (with Xander in second place), so she didn't mean as much to me as she did to some. And I like Dawn sometimes. That's the beauty of Joss's characters--nobody's a total throwaway. :)

Orpheus is one of my all-time favorite Angel episodes, and it's the one that finally made a Faith fan of me. Angelus is a bastard, but he certainly makes for riveting television.

I loathe Kennedy ("Hey, let's make Willow's next girlfriend different from Tara by making her really obnoxious!"). She lost any chance of ever getting into my good books when she called Chloe a maggot.

True, Kennedy's boot-camp-boss bit was kind of lame. But as I've been telling people, I never adored Tara all that much since it was Oz I loved best in Willow's dating world. Hope we see him again before it's all over, but he might have been too busy being Scott Evil...

I have a contribution for your parody. In abrynne's DH review she said this:

"Funny Moments
Just the ones I recall. One that wasn’t really meant to be funny but was to me was the Harry Potter and Voldemort’s Magical Megaphone moment.

I could just picture the Dark Lord in the Forbidden Forest with one of those large and obnoxious megaphones, “Okay people *bleeeep!* according to my very dark and evil watch, you’ve got about fifteen *bleeeeep!*inutes left to hand over The Boy Who Lived…so that I can kill him. 10-4..over and out…*bleeeep!*…
[aside to one of the Death Eaters] I can’t believe that little bastard hasn’t shown up yet. He’s beginning to remind me of me. Wait…Dolohov! Is this thing still on…?”'

I remember thinking that too when I read the books: "Where is Voldemort's awesome intercom?" :) Anyway, to use or not to use, but it reminded me of you.

I can't wait to read your parody!!

Hee!

Thanks for the inspiration. ;) Will see what I come up with.
