I woke up on Sunday to my kitchen faucet not turning on. It didn't get fixed until Monday, but, holy cow, I actually have water pressure now. Before, it was a literal trickle (and took ages to wash by hand). Now, it's a fucking stream and it's amazing. Also, I've been living without a working overhead light in the kitchen since Thanksgiving-ish and they fixed that too while I was at school today and it's amazing how big a difference this makes.
I'm currently up to my eyeballs in stressful shoving-knowledge-into-my-brain-and-praying-it-stays-there events, so I reserve the right to be inordinately happy about things like this.
I was studying pharm with a friend and I tried to tell the pterodactyl joke to two different people at two different times and I screwed up the punch line both times. My friend was cracking up: "You had just ONE LINE!" So funny.
Also, I've been trying to get into SGA, but it's just not happening. The dialogue is crap, the plot corny and predictable, and the characters a bit 2D (though McKay does a lot to fix this).
In exercise news, I've discovered that heavily overcast 37ish degree weather with a pretty strong NNW wind is perfect for rollerblading. I blew through 10 miles. Though, when I took off my boots, they were steaming. This is the closest thing I've come to badass in a while...
