This is kind of a weird story for those of us who have been hanging around in fandom for the past decade (plus) and remember when the Cassie Claire brouhaha blew up: Cassandra Clare is being sued for copyright infringement. Even weirder? After reading a couple of different articles about the case, I think I'm Clare's side. There are dozens of books

Oh, I'm firmly in the pro-Hilary camp. Come on, my favorite characters are Buffy and Scully. Clearly, I have a soft spot for strong-willed women who are constantly devalued by the patriarchal establishment.:) I think it would be an amazing thing to get someone who has spent her entire career working passionately for the betterment of women and children into the White House. I don't disagree with Sanders on anything major, but I think Clinton has more realistic and do-able plans, and honestly, I'm just excited to vote for a woman - a woman whose career I've been invested in for more than twenty years - for president.

Meanwhile, the state I live in will almost certainly go for Trump, which is both depressing and upsetting.

I thought so, but it's been a while since 2008...

I never had any particular feelings on Hillary, but this time round I find myself in her corner, partly just because of all the shit she has to deal with.
