I had a nice date on Monday at the MFA. Her name is Amy and she teaches English as a second language in Brockton. She is sweet and witty. I told her that I would like to see her again. She said she would have to think about it. That does not sound promising, but I still hope.

I had lunch with the dating service referral on Sunday, and, as I predicted, there was no chemistry between us. Though she was pleasant and polite, we were not on the same wavelength. She lived a bit too far away anyway.

I had a nice dinner date this evening. Her name is Maggie and she was very pleasant. She contacted me a few days ago on a dating website where I had recently set up a profile. She is off to Europe on Saturday for three weeks. I hope we will see each other again.

I just spoke on the phone to my latest dating service referral. She called me back hours after I had left a message. We were having a pleasant conversation when she said that an incoming work call was coming in and that she had to take the call. She said that she would call back. Time to wait and see.

I met Stacey this afternoon at an ice cream place recommended. She was quite pleasant and cheerful; her shih tzu, Gizmo, was adorable. We talked for over an hour about our respective pasts. I don't see us as a romantic couple but I would like to see her again.

I met a new dating service referral this afternoon. We chatted for about an hour at a mall over tea. She was polite and pleasant, but there was no chemistry between us. I went to Barnes & Noble afterward to browse.

My second date with (new) Julie went very well. I took her to the MFA and showed her about place. She was very impressed with the various art work and the building. We ate a late lunch at Legal Seafoods afterward. For next Saturday, we will walk through the bird sanctuary at Phillips Academy.

What a day!   I got my hair cut this morning, then went in Boston for the semi-annual coin show. It was not as crowded as in previous years.

Julie and I had our second date last night in Beverly.  We started with a splendid dinner at Chianti Cafe & Grill. My entree of boneless duck was truly excellent.
