#542 *MAJOR KEYSMASH OF FLAIL*
AKA WHY ARE YOU SO FREAKING AWESOME, KANJANI8???
Guh seriously this album is just SO great!! I really like all the songs but my favorites are probably Kurage, Rescue Rescue and the flawless Your Wurlitzer + West side!! combo (we were talking about how West side!! sounds like a perfect substitute for Misetekure but I'd be really sad if they removed Misetekure from the setlist... so they'll have to start the encores with it and then I might forgive them?). And All is well made me all teary, guh, stupid men, why so amazing!
Of course the camera work sucks, but as always Teichiku gave us more extras than we can deal with (3 hours worth of stuff to watch, and this is just a regular album. Most groups get, well, nothing), so who am I to complain? The segment at the beach was adorable and I laughed a lot and I loved their messages at the end. Takoyaki in my heart is probably the best PV in the history of ever (the kids!! THE KIIIIIIDS!!) and the making of was just hilarious, and then there's also all the unit stuff, the groups were so unexpected and I cracked up during the whole selection stuff (god damn it Subaru, how am I supposed to deal with you?? XDDDDDDD), and damn, both songs are great and I don't even know who I want to win or lose, but I'm sure everything is going to be amazing, the tour hasn't even started yet and I can't wait for a DVD already!! I still need time to absorb everything and I'll try to write a proper post later (after more people have had time to listen, watch and flail over everything) because obviously there are screencaps that need to be taken (Maru being Maru!! Ryo's reactions!! Ryo's FACES OMG!! Yasu's muscles!! SUBARU STILL WEARS HIS NAVEL PIERCING AND NOTHING HURTS!! I JUST CAN'T!!!!!!!!!!!) and epic moments that need to be reviewed (aka Subaru wearing a speedo - hey at least it was black! Could have been worse - drowning himself to death), so yeah. I can't wait for my copies to arrive, I haven't seen the booklets and I guess I won't until mine are here.
It was worth waiting for 2 years I guess?? XD Thank you once again, Kanjani8! You make our lives better!!
