I am reading Les femmes qui écrivent vivent dangereusement by Laure Adler, a very interesting book about female writers, and reading about Marguerite Yourcenar made me pick up my old copy of Mémoires d'Hadrien (or Memoirs of Hadrian for English readers), one of the best books I've ever read.
