I was feeling a bit melancholy this evening so I went to TJs to do a little shopping. Somehow I ended up spending $125 and buying 7 bottles of wine amoung other things. I scored a BV Century Cellars magnum of 2003 Sauv. Blanc for $4.99 (one time buy), a new TJs Carmanere that Colt said was decent, and happily the Concanon Petite Syrah is back. ( Read more... )

American Beer Fest on Saturday afternoon!!! Yay!!!

My liver and taste buds had an amazing weekend. Saturday night, I went to the Beer Advocate Extreme Beer Fest with Sean, Joe, Kate, & Kevin. Oh, what a night. We were there for about 3 hours and were home and in bed by 9:45pm. ( Thank God for 4 oz. samples. )

today was a loathsome, hateful day.

until I drank beer and ate organic australian burgers.

then, once my buzz was gone, it was once again a loathsome, hateful day.

no will, which was good, but kept me on edge. however, a customer drove me to tears. I have not had this in some time. rad.

and now I will have some more beer.
