This just makes me laugh.
A month or so ago I ordered a Christmas wreath from a co-worker's son's scout troop. I didn't think much about it until it dawned on me this weekend that it hadn't come yet. So I flag Joan-the-coworker down in the hall today and ask her when the wreaths would be coming in. Her face turned beet red and she began to laugh.
She just moved at the end of November. She had to pick up the wreaths and deliver them the day after they had closed, so she was scrambling. When she got to the pack parents' house to get the wreaths, they didn't have an itemized list for her, so she was organizing them from memory. In the bustle, Kathy (one of the marketing VPs) ended up with my wreath because she'd ordered about 12 for her house/etc and Joan spaced out about mine, and figured Kathy was getting the balance of the stuff in her car.
Hopefully Kathy didn't give it out as a gift. That would suck. But it's still really funny for some reason- one of the marketing weasels got my wreath!
