One down 5 to go with US
So today I had my first observation done by my US (who is my new US so things are kinda wierd but getting more comfortable which is good).
But the interesting part (more like super stressful) was that she chose to come for 3rd period which can be really crazy, and it was my first time teaching the whole class a whole lesson at all, oh and wait, there's more it was a lab class today.
But I was quite proud of myself because i got through all the tests for the lab and my CT didn't for some of them. There are somethings I need to work on that were not new things to me, and so that will be interesting to do when I don't really have complete control or ability to do arg.
The other great thing is I've really wanted to do more and have more say and get in there with things, and now I'm going from this one lesson being taught to not this monday but next monday I get to start taking over in lesson planning, but it's hard to really do when she still wants to control what is taught when and how, and what we do for lab sections and stuff. So I can't really plan when she's still go the reigns.
My CT and I are supposed to talk tomorrow and I am hoping that we can sort out some of those details and get an arrangement down that works for both of us.
