Oh my God, you guys. If you ever want to take a trip down memory lane, I'd recommend going through ten years worth of emails on your fandom email account. I was going through my Yahoo account, forwarding emails to my Gmail that I wanted to save before deleting the Yahoo (it got hacked, which was the straw that broke the camel's back - I've needed to delete that email account for a while), and omg. Some of it was hilarious, some was cringe-worthy, and it was all very...sad. I think that's the best word for it. There were emails from a bunch of people I once considered good friends who I never talk to anymore, so that was a bit depressing, and reflecting on the golden years of HP fandom is a bit depressing for me at times. I don't miss fandom in general, but it was a big part of my life for a few years there - it's how I know almost all of you! - so...I dunno. It's hard to disregard entirely.
