Well, the kiddies are safely at their destinations, our deck is almost complete, and I strung up the pole beans. All is right with the world. It feels like summer, which is a good thing, as long as the weather doesn't overdo it. I am dedicating my summer to: gardening, cooking, making cheese, kefir, sprouts and kombucha, and getting ready for my first gallery opening (details to follow as available. Naturally I hope you will all attend ;-))
galacticvoyeur and I bought a share in an organic dairy just over the border in Wisconsin so we can buy raw milk and other delicious goodies. I had a guided tour of the Midvalleyvu Farm with my daughter,
tigrr_lily when she was in town. It brought back vivid memories of the way I used to prepare foods in the 70s and 80s before life got so dang complicated. I guess that puts us at the forefront of the current local food movement, which is fine with me. I am determined to be the healthiest person I can, and it feels great already.
