I finally managed to get my hands on Tripping to Somewhere, by Kristopher Reisz - this month's book club selection. And it wasn't easy! The paperback's out of print, and only the Kindle version's at all available. The Minuteman library chain did not have a copy. And I neither own a Kindle, nor can afford to spend money on a book I'd never read

This was the December selection for the Permanent Floating YA Diversity Book Club. The theme of the month was YA fantasy with non-white protagonists, by authors of color. Half World was, in fact, the book I voted for, and having read it, I was not disappointed
