It was early and their release party had just started. Their cafe is under construction and completely closed off, so that'll make things interesting for them. It is officially winter in Lizland. I am baking the first gingerbread of the season.

The Pumpkin Pasties didn't turn out very well. They taste good, but they look silly. I can't get the edges to stay crimped together - when they puff in the oven they come apart so it looks like open clam shells. I'm going to take the least bad looking ones to work with me anyway.
